Studenthood as Surrogate Occupation: Access to Higher Education Students' Discursive Production of Commitment, Maturity and Peer Support.
Warmington, Paul
Journal of Vocational Education & Training, v54 n4 p583-600 2002

Studenthood is conceptualized as surrogate occupation, a prerequisite for completion of higher education and entry into desired employment. (Contains 22 references.) (SK)
