A survey of 42 British MBA graduates and their mentors (40% response) revealed that mentoring was working well from both perspectives, but time pressures were a concern. Mentors needed awareness training and ongoing support. A process of comentoring emerged, in which discussion of mentors' work problems enabled them to receive listening support from their proteges.
