How Young People Make Career Decisions.
Hodkinson, Phil
Education + Training, v40 n6-7 p301-06 1998
Interviews with 115 British high school students revealed their career decision making to be pragmatically rational. Assumptions that good guidance and better information will help them make "correct" career decisions are fallacious. Changes of mind and career decision are normal and should be accounted for in training policy and programs. (SK)
