Effective Counselor and Paraprofessional Counselor Trainees: A Comparison of Personality Characteristics

Personality characteristics of effective paraprofessional counselor trainees were compared with those of effective counselor education students using a standardized personality inventory and the Counselor Evaluation Rating Scale. The effective paraprofessionals and the effective counselor education students in the study were remarkably similar in their measured non-intellective features. (JC)
