Student Services and Policies: An Outdated Privilege or a Necessary Part of Higher Education?

The organization and administration of existing student services in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, and Italy are compared, and their purposes and directions are reassessed in light of changes in student policies. It is suggested that student policies and university personnel policies be treated as counterparts, more cohesive and integrated. (MSE)
