Remedial Work in Mathematics for Students Entering Engineering Courses at Universities.

This paper describes a scheme of diagnosis and remediation in mathematics for undergraduates consisting of a multiple choice preknowledge test and certain books and programed materials. Certain knowledge gaps and their causes are identified and the effectiveness of the remedial materials and procedures are evaluated. (Author/MK)
