An Instrument to Measure Student Satisfaction with Procedures for Competitive Admission to a Teacher-Education Program
Paskewitz, Daniel; Hummel, Thomas J.
Journal of the Student Personnel Association for Teacher Education, 12, 4, 122-130, Jun 74
With the reduced demand for teachers, some teacher training colleges have implemented a competetive admissions program. As a means of assisting counselors, Likert-type scales were developed to measure the reaction of pre-education students to the admission process. Results indicate such scales can successfully measure student's reaction to this process. (HMV)
