Work Environment and Burnout of Physical Education Teachers.

Analyzes the nature of physical education teaching, reporting a study of work environment factors relating to Israeli physical education teachers' burnout. Surveys indicated that physical education teachers' burnout was lower than classroom teachers' burnout. Three work condition factors affecting burnout were low remuneration, bureaucratic limitations, and role limitations. (SM)
