Women and the Struggle for Daytime Adult Education in Ireland.
Inglis, Tom
Studies in the Education of Adults, v26 n1 p50-66 Apr 1994
Daytime adult education has emerged in Ireland in the form of voluntary, locally based groups of working class women providing education for themselves and others. They thrive because of disenchantment with the content, scheduling, and form of existing adult education. (SK)
