Examined 2,379 records of individuals accused of operating motor vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Identified predictors for rehabilitation outcomes and compliance to provisions of driver safety program among OWIs: repeat offense, use of other human services, employment status, and race. Findings suggest that more is known about factors related to assessment and referral to rehabilitation than about compliance with law. (Author/NB)
