Current literature on time-related research in sport pedagogy is discussed in four general areas: conceptualization of time, measurement of time, how time is spent in physical education and sport settings, and unknown elements of time-related events. A six-item agenda for further research on time in sport pedagogy is suggested. (IAH)

DeBusk, Michael; Hellison, Don – Journal of Teaching in Physical Education, 1989
The process and impact of a self-responsibility model for delinquency-prone youth, 10 fourth-grade boys, was investigated using a variation of the case study method. Students participated in a 6-week special physical education program. Results suggest the model caused some affective, behavioral and knowledge changes in the boys. (IAH)

Currently, the dominant approach in research on teaching in physical education (the objectivist, scientific approach) has failed to provide a solution to how its findings, which are embodied in theories, can bring about change in the curriculum.
