Parent Perceptions of the Talents of Young Gifted Boys and Girls.

Parents' perceptions of the characteristics of their young gifted children (n=150) were studied. Although there were no differences in the intelligence quotients of boys and girls, differences were found in parents' perceptions of their use of leisure time, early indications of intellectual ability, and favorite books.
