Perspectives on Physical Education in Traditionally Black Institutions.

To gain perspective on traditionally black institutions (TBIs), researchers surveyed physical education chairs from TBIs offering physical education degrees. Results indicate TBIs are generally small and have had difficulty recruiting qualified black faculty. A list of physical education degree programs in TBIs, along with institution addresses, is included. (SM)
