Effects of an Educational Computing Course on Preservice Teachers' Attitudes and Anxiety toward Computers.
Savenye, Wilhelmina C.; And Others
Journal of Computing in Childhood Education, v3 n1 p31-41 1992
Examined the prior computer experience of preservice teachers and whether their attitudes and feelings of anxiety are influenced by participation in computer course. Findings suggest that participation in a semester-long systematically designed computer literacy course produces positive attitudes toward computers, reduces computer anxiety, and provides preservice teachers with many perspectives on their upcoming roles as technology-using teachers.
