Sinclair, Anne S.
Journal of Research and Development in Education, v27 n3 p153-61 Spr 1994
This study used qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the effects on students' learning, motivation, attitude, participation, and critical thinking when prediction activities were used in teaching genetic concepts in high school biology. The prediction activities enhanced students' critical analysis, interest, and participation. Differences surfaced in teacher effects on learning, participation, and attitude toward science.
