Urban Secondary Teachers' Value Orientations: Delineating Curricular Goals for Social Responsibility.

Study examined content and task decisions of urban secondary physical educators who prioritized social curriculum goals. Researchers analyzed transcript data from a simulated-recall protocol and found teachers' content decisions were consistent with the goals of cooperation, teamwork, and involvement within the social responsibility value orientation.
