Evaluated effectiveness of countermeasure program in 12 rural middle Tennessee counties for persons convicted of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Effectiveness was measured on basis of program's goal achievement, successful implementation, participant behavior improvement, and participant evaluations. Analyses indicated considerable accomplishment in program development and public relations. (Author/NB)
