Architecture and Planning: The Divergence of Two Fields.
Dagenhart, Richard; Sawicki, David
Journal of Planning Education and Research, v12 n1 p1-16 Fall 1992
The separations between planning and architecture are currently far more obvious than their historic similarities. This paper probes the possible reasons for the divergence of two fields that are conceptually, historically, professionally, and academically related. Although the disciplines have become radically different, the beginnings of a new, mutually beneficial common discourse are evident. (55 references) (MLH)
