Social Work and Legal Education: Can They Unite to Serve the Elderly?

A research, training, and demonstration study by Southern Illinois University-Carbondale that dealt with the interaction of law and social work graduate students in delivering services to the elderly poor is reported. Confrontation education is suggested as a means to modify stereotypes, clarify roles, and encourage integrated service delivery. (Author/MLW)
