Changes in Anxiety Prior to First Experience White Water Canoeing.

In the week prior to their first experience of white-water canoeing, 10 college students completed the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 6 times: 1 week, 48 hours, 24 hours, 12 hours, 2 hours, 30 minutes, and immediately before the experience. Significant differences (higher anxiety) were found in all dimensions as the time to event diminished. (KS)
