Cornell, Dewey G.; And Others
Journal for the Education of the Gifted, v18 n2 p189-209 Win 1995
Analysis of achievement and self-concept scores of 299 African American, 52 Hispanic, and 595 white elementary school students found that minority students in gifted programs scored significantly higher on achievement measures than did minority students in regular classrooms but lower than white gifted program students. There were no minority group differences in academic or social self-concept. (Author/DB)
