Teaching the "Whys" and "Hows" of Cardiorespiratory Fitness.
Whitley, Jim D.; And Others
Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, v65 n9 p79-84 Nov-Dec 1994
Cognitive instructional cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) programs are beneficial to secondary students. Though health and physical educators recognize the need for cognitive information in fitness programs, there is little practice in secondary school fitness programs. The article makes recommendations for including valid, cognitively related information on CRF in secondary school programs. (SM)
