Toddlers and Preschoolers Drawing with Primary and Standard Markers, Pencils, and Crayons.
Readdick, Christine A.
Journal of Research in Childhood Education, v9 n1 p68-74 Fall-Win 1994
Observed drawing by toddlers and preschoolers using primary and standard markers, pencils, and crayons to determine the influence of implement diameter on children's drawing products, performances, and preferences. The relationship between drawing and early home manipulative experience was also investigated. Confirmed findings of previous studies indicating that even very young children are competent users of standard-size drawing instruments. (AA)
