Student Teaching Supervision--A Dyadic Approach.
Rikard, G. Linda
Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, v61 n4 p85-87 Apr 1990
A clinical model of student teacher supervision is discussed in this article. The role of the college supervisor shifts from a visiting observer-evaluator to a consultant-colleague for the cooperating teacher. The clinical model's strength lies in the dyadic relationship between the supportive, mentoring, cooperating teacher and the student teacher. (IAH)
