The Excessively Crying Infant: The Mother-Infant Relationship.
Wikander, Birgitta; Helleday, Ann
Early Child Development and Care, v124 p11-23 Oct 1996

Found through interviews that the mothers were anxious when separated from the infant, had an intensive perception of the infant's crying, and had difficulty sharing responsibility for the infant.
