The outdoor environment is an extremely important place within early childhood programs. Early childhood professionals can use the information and resources to justify the significance of maximizing the outside environment. Creating these spaces is not a haphazard process, but rather should be based on a foundation that all children deserve a right to play in meaningful and purposeful environments.
