Peer Judgment of Competence in Junior High School Classrooms.

Investigates the dimensions junior high school students use to conceptualize school competence. Verbatim descriptive statements regarding perceptions of school competence were obtained from junior high school students. A sociometric questionnaire using these statements was administered to another 203 students. Factor-analytic procedures were used to identify several factors. (Author/SS)
