Inhibition in Boys with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as Indexed by Heart Rate Change.

Seven- to 12-year-old boys with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and a control group of non-ADHD boys performed a videogame task that required response inhibition at a signal. Results showed that ADHD boys performed well and showed appropriate psychophysiological changes. Inhibition latencies were longer for ADHD boys than non-ADHD boys. (BC)
