Ladd, Gary W.; Ladd, Becky Kochenderfer
Developmental Psychology, v34 n6 p1450-58 Nov 1998
Observed parent-child interaction at home and obtained data about children's peer victimization in kindergarten. Parent-child relationships in which parents exhibited high intrusive demandingness and low responsiveness were associated with peer victimization for boys and girls. Parent-child relationships that exhibited intense closeness were associated with peer victimization for boys. (BC)
