Core Skills, Participation and Progression in Post-compulsory Education and Training in England and France.
Green, Andy
Comparative Education, v31 n1 p49-67 Mar 1995
Policy makers in both England and France have sought to increase participation and attainment in postcompulsory education and training (PCET) through creation of new vocational tracks. Compared with England, France has considerably higher rates of participation in PCET, a higher proportion of students in the academic track, and higher proportions of students completing qualifications on each track.
