A study of the statistical relationships between gender, undergraduate area of study, undergraduate grade point average, further educational plans, and student participation in an honors program both (1) confirms earlier research about gender-related differences in educational plans (2) and suggests that fewer graduates are pursuing further study immediately after graduation.
