Identified behaviors related to alcohol consumption and examined behaviors exhibited by college groups designated by amount and frequency of alcohol consumption. Behavior groups (Abusers, Weekenders, Users, and Socials) differed markedly in variables related and unrelated to drinking behavior. Findings suggest alcohol awareness programs should be targeted to specific groups. (ABL)
