Use of Outside and Inside Faculty in Adult Higher Education

Advantages and disadvantages of staffing evening college and extension programs with regular faculty and faculty employed outside the institution are discussed. The author concludes that use of "outside" faculty is usually necessary but that it should be carefully controlled, and that use of "inside" faculty provides a greater service to the entire community.
