Journal on Excellence in College Teaching, v9 n3 p33-46 1998
Reports on an evaluation of seminars run by three cohorts of final-year undergraduates at Nottingham-Trent University (England) using both qualitative and quantitative information. Evaluation showed that students who participated actively in the seminars averaged significantly higher final examination scores than those who participated passively or did not attend.
