A Sense of Community: Collaboration in a Large Anthropology Class.
Lancy, David F.; And Others
College Teaching, v42 n3 p102-06 Sum 1994

Students were divided into and worked in "clans" for the entire term. A study of the course suggests that learning and a sense of community resulted directly from this organization. (MSE)
