Investigates student evaluations and focuses on higher education where current concerns with accountability have placed growing emphasis on the students' evaluations of their instructors. The author reviews the literature on student evaluation and discusses the merits of composite evaluation, which makes use of peer evaluations, administrative review, and self-evaluation. (Author)
