Researchers revised the ethnicity scale developed by Pavlak and modified it for pencil and paper use on large populations. Tests were run on urban college students. A questionnaire was administered to randomly selected university undergraduates. Though a majority supported the right of faculty to unionize and strike, few would support a strike by university faculty.
