The Tennessee Self Concept Scale was given to undergraduate education and liberal arts majors and teachers and other professionals to determine whether people attracted to teaching have lower self-regard than do individuals in other professions. Results suggested undergraduate education majors have higher self-esteem than liberal arts students. (Author)
