An Investigation of Career Decidedness in Relation to "Big Five" Personality Constructs and Life Satisfaction.

Examination of "big five" personality constructs as related to career choice in 249 undergraduate students found that career decidedness was positively and significantly related to life satisfaction, agreeableness, and conscientiousness, and negatively related to neuroticism. Findings are discussed in relation to construct validation of career decidedness and career planning. (Author/DB)
