A questionnaire was administered to 419 university freshmen and results were compared with previous freshmen. Results indicate that more freshmen have tried marijuana than in previous years but there are fewer regular users. Males had a higher incidence of use of marijuana, while females reported a higher incidence of speed use. (Author)

Results of an anonymous poll on student attitudes shows that students generally feel that demonstrations are worthwhile to point out social problems about which they feel strongly. The implications seem to be that students feel strongly about social issues and their value, but relatively few are going to put those attitudes into action. (Author)

Administered anonymous questionnaires examining behavior and attitudes toward drugs to random sample of 410 incoming college freshmen in 1973 and to 491 incoming freshmen in 1983.
