In the next decade, demographic shifts will create four higher education markets requiring different planning strategies. Those aged 18-24 will be characterized by diversity, unisex roles, closer ties to parents, and division between haves and have-nots. Ages 25-34 will need basic courses, part-time programs, special skill training. Those 35-54 will need career retraining, and individuals over age 55 will want challenging liberal arts. (MSE)
