Dionne, newspaper columnist, at Wake Forest University; (5) Tony Kushner, playwright, at the State University of New York College at Purchase; and (6) Michael Shermer, adjunct professor of economics at Claremont Graduate University and founding publisher of Skeptic magazine, at Whittier College. The excerpts from graduation speeches focus on being imaginative, resilient, and a good ancestor.
