Harry Edwards of the University of California at Berkeley has formed an organization to monitor the hiring of black coaches and sports administrators--particularly in intercollegiate athletics. The National Organization on the Status of Minorities in Sports will track vacancies in college athletics and submit names of qualified blacks to fill positions. (MLW)
