Muslims in East Africa Develop Their Own Higher-Education Options.
Useem, Andrea
Chronicle of Higher Education, v46 n13 pA69-A71 Nov 19 1999

The model is the 11-year-old Islamic University in Uganda, which is now attempting to substantially increase women's enrollment. (MSE)
