Developmental Psychology and Early Childhood Education.
Vejleskov, Hans
European Early Childhood Education Research Journal, v7 n1 p23-34 1999
Child psychology and early-childhood education are related, as the former includes three distinct aspects: scientific, popular, and common-sense psychology of parents and teachers. No clear relationship exists between current theory and those of parents and teachers; however, teachers' and parents' views do influence their behavior toward children. Common-sense views should be considered by theorists. (LBT)
