School-Age Child Care: An Examination of Philosophical Priorities. Research in Early Childhood.
Coleman, Mick; Wallinga, Charlotte; Toledo, Carlos
Early Childhood Education Journal, v27 n2 p123-28 Win 1999
School-age child care (SACC) is a relatively new social institution, and effective SACC programs must balance academic, recreational, and enrichment needs of child development.
