Family and Community Supports Provided for Low-Income Children in the Syracuse Prekindergarten Program: A Follow-up Study.
Feldman, Lillian M.
Early Child Development and Care, v111 p69-85 Jul 1995
Examined the school and life experiences of former preschoolers 17 years after they participated in the Syracuse (New York) Prekindergarten Program. Data on influences that impinged upon the students indicated few differences between the school achieving and non-achieving students. Subjects from both groups were doing well, indicating the importance of the prekindergarten program to their adult success. (AA)
