The Influence of Culturally Derived Values on Anglo and Puerto Rican Mothers' Perceptions of Attachment Behavior.
Harwood, Robin L.
Child Development, v63 n4 p822-39 Aug 1992

In response to the vignettes, Anglo mothers focused on children's individual autonomy, while Puerto Rican mothers emphasized children's maintenance of proper demeanor. (BC)
