The Development of Young Children's Spatial Representations of Their Classrooms
Siegel, Alexander W.; Schadler, Margaret
Child Development, 48, 2, 388-394, Jun 77
Analysis of the attempts of 15 boys and 15 girls to construct a 3-dimensional model of their kindergarten classroom revealed that boys were more accurate on all measures than girls. Effects were also found for increased experience in the classroom and for the provision of landmarks. (Author/JMB)
