Autism--A Case in Early Childhood: A South African Investigation.
Akande, Adebowale
Early Child Development and Care, v155 p71-78 Aug 1999

Tentative comparisons of African data with previously reported data on American children indicated that the concepts underlying the use of self-monitoring as an intervention procedure are relevant and that there was a positive relationship between caregiver reinforcement and play for the African children.
